Getting What’s Inside Out

There are times when I don’t understand what’s going on inside of me until it comes out through my hands.

Inclusion doesn’t mean Jews. I’m on my own when I’m on the NMSU campus. Being on the receiving end of two hate crimes and the campus police refused to help taught me that I’m on my own. That’s why I’m always armed when I’m on campus.

Renee Goode lived for 8 minutes after she was shot by ICE fascists. Although there was a doctor present, the fascists refused to let the doctor help Renee.

“Are you all right?” were the last words Alex Pretti spoke before being murdered by ICE fascists for daring to try to help someone.

Both quilts need to be squared up and bound.

I retired from the Public Defender Dept. November 12, 2015 after 16 health destroying years. Now, I'm a full time multi-media artist and writer on a new adventure. As an artist, I create with beads, fabric, fiber, and ceramic clay. Sometimes separately; sometimes in assorted combinations. You can find my on-line store at: www.debthumanart.com.
